MSS NPC has been in the fore front in terms of Community Development and Local Economic Development projects. The waste collection project funded by the NLC is one case in point where MSS NPC managed to clean and remove solid waste dumped in public areas and gravesites in Driekoppies. Here MSS NPC worked closely in collaboration with Nkomazi Local Municipality who was responsible for the removal of waste collected by the field workers to dump it in the designated areas.
The Nkomazi Local Municipality was proactive in that they offered a one-day training to the field workers employed by MSS NPC, the aim of the training was to give them a basic understanding of the hazard of environmental pollution.
A sustainable partnership contract was signed with Mdzili Secondary School in Schuzendal, Nkomazi in the year 2020 and launched the partnership in November that year.
